X-Men: Dark Phoenix - 40 WTF Moments

22. Why Does Cerebro Have A Nose-Bleed Setting?

Go and look at your toaster. For some reason, it has a setting that will burn any piece of bread put within it to a pitch-black, inedible piece of charcoal. Why does your toaster have this? It's ludicrous.

It's also ludicrous that Cerebro - which Charles Xavier built - would have a setting that practically kills him. Seriously, why would it have a nosebleed setting built into it that he could wilfully turn it up to?!

21. Jean Is Left Entirely Unsupervised

After Jean collapses and Charles invades her mind to reveal that he set up defences in there to stop her killing everyone - a decision Mystique seems to think was inhumane, for some reason - we see some of the X-Men exploring her mind and then trying to calm her down when she gets angry at Xavier's invasion.

It's then revealed that she's alone in her bedroom, despite the fact that she literally just collapsed after a serious incident in space and then an unexplained seizure. Why isn't a teacher or, you know, HER BOYFRIEND, with her, keeping some sort of close eye on her?
