X-Men: Dark Phoenix - 40 WTF Moments

12. Just Leave That Helicopter There

So, Magneto has the power to do whatever he likes with metal, so you'd think he'd be able to clear up any mess made of metal that might be making his little island "paradise" dangerous. Like, say, a crashed helicopter left after the army tried to attack Jean Grey and ended up getting their asses handed to them.

That makes the fact that he simply leaves the crashed helicopter in the middle of his farmland until Beast appears in Genosha somewhat confusing. Sure, it could be there for continuity, but there's contuinity issues and there's common sense. He would move it with one wiggle of an eyebrow.

11. Jean Says She'll Show Magneto How To Kill, Then Doesn't

Eventually, Magneto is convinced by Beast to join the fight to take Jean down when he's told that she killed Mystique. They and what remains of the X-Men all head to New York on the trail of her and her new alien buddy, Vuk, and when they find her, sh*t seriously goes down.

The X-Men fight Magneto's team for a start, but then Magneto raises a subway train out of the ground to block the doorway so nobody can stop him killing Jean (he could have used literally ANYTHING other than a subway train but hey, it looked cool) and gets his chance of a one-to-one. He misjudges it badly and Jean subdues him, telling him she's going to show him how to really kill someone, crushing his head in his helmet.

But then she just stops after stabbing him with the fragments of his helmet (a set of injuries he literally forgets in the next scene) and throwing him out of the building. That's... that's not how you kill someone, Jean. You literally JUST said.
