6. The MCU?!

Let's hope this is a conscious gag, because otherwise it's just a massively weird coincidence. When the mutants are being transported to the unnamed mutant internment prison, the heavily-armed tactical team brought in to transport them have patches with MCU on their sleeves. Clearly, that's meant to be something like Mutant Containment Unit, but there's a complication that suggests this was deliberate.

In Deadpool 2, we meet the DMC - the same group that regulates mutants - who could very easily have just been used here as well. The X-Men cameo in Deadpool 2 establishes that this is the same universe, after all... So maybe it was a dig at the MCU being the enemy of these mutants...?

5. Nightcrawler's Rage-Out

At one point on the train, Nightcrawler is trying to save one of the MCU troops from one of the main D'Bari aliens and teleports him away to save him, only to discover that the alien got a killer blow in anyway. If you can see how this happened, your detective skills are incredible, because it doesn't look obvious (or even possible) at first.

More confusing is the fact that Nightcrawler reacts to this random man's death - who we've literally never met before - as if his best friend has just been killed and "hulks out" for want of a better Fox-friendly term. It's an emotional escalation that makes absolutely no sense.
