X-Men Movies: 15 Moments That Pissed Off Every Fan
10. Quicksilver's Vanishing Act - X-Men: Day Of Future Past
Quicksilver was by the estimation of many the MVP of Days of Future Past, showing up to help break Magneto out of the Pentagon and doing so in spectacular fashion, utilising his super-speed to effortlessly take out everyone in the vicinity in exceptionally playful fashion. Quickie sadly bails after this scene and is only spotted again briefly at the very end of the movie, which was frustrating for fans of the character and also fans of basic movie logic, given how he could have solved most of the movie's problems in a literal flash. Yes, the rather lame get-out is that Quicksilver wanted to go back to his family or whatever, but this is the awesome-awful can of worms that's now been opened: he can pull off these awesome feats, but it's difficult to find a way to moderate them without just making him suddenly disappear for no reason. Hopefully the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse has come up with a slightly more elegant way to gimp his powers, but we'll see...
