X-Men Movies: 7 Perfect Performances & 7 That Sucked

4. Will.I.Am - John Wraith

Nobody is going to say that The Black Eyed Peas' charismatic front-man has no talent: he can turn his chair around on "talent" shows, he can "invent" gadgets, he can sing and dance, and he has a hell of a way with hair products, but he's no actor. Which makes the decision to cast him as John Wraith in X-Men Origins: Wolverine all the more confusing.

In a bad field, he's the worst part of the Origins cast and even though he looks pretty much as you'd want Kestrel to look based on the comics, there's no substance beyond the surface. He fails to capture anything like the right charm for the character (which is odd, because he's a charismatic guy away from this film) and the result is a dead-eyed bore whose death leaves no lasting mark on the film at all.
