X-Men: Apocalypse - 25 WTF Moments

1. Right, So They Spoiled The Bloody Ending

If there's a single criticism of X-Men: Apocalypse that rings truest, it's that the marketing campaign was as infuriating as Batman v Superman's at times. They spoiled the inclusion of the Sentinels, of Wolverine, or the Dark Phoenix hints, showed off pieces of key sequences that didn't need to be spoiled and basically displayed an agenda to give away way more than was necessary.

The final, annoying realisation of that fact comes just as Xavier and Apocalypse are fighting in the psychic-scape, and before Magneto has changed allegiances (without an entirely satisfying reason, I have to say). You suddenly remember that the trailer and some publicity stills released before the film aired showed Xavier and Magneto together in the X-Men facility with Xavier now bald.

They literally spoiled the fact that Magneto turns back to the good side and that Prof X survives unscathed, and it's impossible not to have that loom over you as the threat of the climax evaporates into the air. It's bloody infuriating.
