10 2019 Video Games That Won't Get Enough Love
9. Psychonauts 2
Despite being the long-awaited sequel to one of the biggest cult classic games out there, Psychonauts 2 hasn't had nearly enough excitement surrounding it.
The biggest buzz from the game came from the fact that it was crowdfunded and managed to raise the necessary three million dollars.
After that, excitement for the game has seemingly disappeared, despite having an amazing trailer at The Game Awards.
Much like other 'long-awaited' games, it seems like people are more excited for the game just existing than they are for the game itself.
Combine that with the fact that we've been burned in the past when it comes to crowd-funded platformers (Yooka-Laylee, we're looking at you) and there's a fair amount of trepidation surrounding Psychonauts 2.
Let's just hope that Double Fine can make the sequel that we've all wanted to see. The trailer showed plenty of interesting story elements, characters and locations and we can't wait to see more.
