Final Night Round 4 is a boxing game with a rather in-depth and competitive multiplayer scene, at least at the time of its release.

The multiplayer mode, which is now mostly inactive, came with actual championship fights in which players could compete against each other in order to obtain the title and the belt of the champion of one of the three weight divisions.

Now, this all sounds nice and fun, but the problem was that the game also came with achievements for winning the championship belt. And seeing as there could only be one champion at a time, and thousands of players wanted the achievement, you can probably tell where this is going.

Getting the championship title in Final Night Round 4 was about as possible as getting one in real life. Aside from climbing to the top of the game’s rankings just to be able to qualify to fight the champion, you also needed to have that player be available. So unless you knew them personally or they were constantly online, getting such a match was up to chance.

All this, and we’re not even talking about winning the fight! That's how badly the odds are stacked against you!
