10 Amazing Moments From The Worst Video Games
7. Kylo Ren - Star Wars: Battlefront II
The rebooted Star Wars: Battlefront II was nothing short of a catastrophic nightmare for EA.
Chief among the myriad reasons for its reputation was the ludicrous price players had to pay to unlock fan-favourite Darth Vader early, rather than grinding for hours on end. The multiplayer portion of the game may be hated for eternity because of this and its short-lived campaign didn't offer enough content to make up for the hefty price tag that was charged on release.
The original story - detailing the adventures of Iden Versio, an imperialist turned rebel - was interesting because it was one of the rare moments fans were promised to see what the Empire looked like from the inside. This ended up being yet another great disappointment because hardly anything from this perspective was shown.
The best moment arrived at the end of the narrative - and to help bridge the game into the sequel trilogy - when Kylo Ren appears to interrogate Del Meeko about Lor San Tekka's location (who owns the map which can lead to Luke Skywalker).
For many, this was unexpected and allowed for a small moment of excitement in an otherwise short, bleak and lacking experience, despite it being a brief cutscene.
