It might actually deter some people, but this is a baby industry. It’s tiny, but growing to an enormous size... which is, of course, what she said.

As it’s an industry in its infancy (say THAT ten times fast), we haven’t quite figured everything out yet, and as such everything is a learning experience. As such, even the greatest, most adept developers in the industry are still learning, and that means having to accept you are a mere novice... and likely will be, forever.

To me, it’s exciting knowing there’s so much I don’t know.

The idea there’s always more to learn and evolve gives me the fizzy feelings in my undercarriage. However, I accept that it’s not for everyone, and perfectionists will find themselves either self-destructing, or having a bit of a wakeup call before too long.

Being a part of a much greater whole and evolving the technology, the design ethos, and more? It’s one of the biggest pro-points for me. At least, that’s my excuse for my unstoppable ignorance.
