10 Amazing Video Game Rewards Stupidly Locked Behind 100% Completion

6. Be'lakor - Total War: Warhammer III

When Total War: Warhammer III was released last year, many of its players complained about the quality of its main campaign mode, called the Realm of Chaos. The campaign's victory conditions were too convoluted; the game constantly barraged the player with penalties for simply progressing through the missions; and on top of that, the reward you received for winning just wasn't really worth it.

After completing the Realm of Chaos campaign, the player was rewarded with Be'lakor, the game's main antagonist and a powerful daemon lord. Aside from the many complaints the Warhammer lore nerds had about this outcome, receiving Be'lakor was equally pointless and frustrating simply because, well, the game was already over! Even if you had anything left to conquer on the map, there wasn't much point in sending Be'lakor there, as you had already reaped the benefits of victory.

Thankfully, the introduction of the Immortal Empires campaign some time later redeemed Be'lakor a little. He became a separate faction leader you could play right from the start, and he was even made more powerful after some of the fans complained about his lack of abilities in the Realm of Chaos.
