The Resident Evil franchise has a vast roster of enemies to draw from over it's 20 plus years, but no matter how difficult, how terrifying or seemingly cheap at times, there is one type that takes the prize for most infuriating.

Forget the zombies, the Lickers or even Nemesis, because it's the Eliminators that will induce rage quits.

These primates infected with the T-Virus are set loose upon the training facility just as Billy and Rebecca split up. Combining speed and the leaping abilities of the Hunters, these white furry monsters bring back flashbacks of the horrifying gorillas from the 90s movie Kongo - but in a not-so-fun size.

But what really helps these demon monkeys top the list is that unlike any other Resident Evil foes, the Eliminator can force the player into a stun-lock. Get caught out or perhaps too close to a corner and it'll be game over if Billy and Ashley are separated.

There is literally nothing the player can do apart from wait until death and hope for better next time around. The Eliminators break the experience of Resident Evil 0, and other than the poor boss choices, they are the only blemish on what is an almost perfect entry in the franchise.
