10 Anime & Video Game Tunes That Would Make Great WWE Theme Songs

6. The Dark Colossus Destroys All (Nier) - Seth Rollins

Self-important, grandiose and aggressive, The Dark Colossus Destroys All is the perfect accompaniment to Seth Rollins whether you are watching him on TV or following him on Twitter (sorry, couldn't resist).

This track has everything a self-proclaimed God needs to announce his arrival - the ominous Latin-sounding choir, pounding percussion and explosive brass instruments all combine to produce a feeling of unmistakable, unavoidable threat.

This song actually introduces Nier's biggest boss fight and foreshadows a major turning point in the story, which aligns well with Rollins' recent character arc. After a relatively disappointing universal title run he needed a transformation to remain relevant, and his evolution into the Monday Night Messiah has done the job perfectly. Just as Dark Colossus' overpowering music complements the arrival of Nier's biggest monster, it also exemplifies Rollins' overwhelming ego and belief that he is the most important part of the WWE Universe.

Simply put, the Monday Night Messiah needs a theme as pompous, overbearing and threatening as the character himself. The Dark Colossus Destroys All amply provides.
