1. Naughty Dog Shows An Uncharted 4 Teaser
Some will be expecting Naughty Dog to show off a demo soon for a new PS4 IP, but why on Earth would they do that when they have a critically-acclaimed commercial juggernaut just waiting in the wings for a next-gen go-around? It's a foregone conclusion that a fourth outing for Nathan Drake would go down a storm with gamers and the press alike if it were announced at Gamescom, likely by way of a CGI trailer that, in typical fashion, doesn't actually show any gameplay off. Still, the tease would be sufficient enough to whip up a frenzy, and given how each Uncharted game to date (particularly the latter two) have been technical marvels that absolutely pushed the PS3 to its limit, why should we expect any different from the PS4? This would be a sure-fire way to cement how seriously they are taking the new platform, and give early adopters something to look forward to. What do you hope and expect to see at Gamescom? Will Shenmue III finally be unveiled (yeah, right)? Let us know in the comments below.
