10. Crackdown 3

Although the original was one of the best 360 games of all time - ushering in the addictive nature of collectibles in open-world games - Crackdown 2 felt like glorified DLC, and part three... well, that was announced way back in 2014.

Now in 2017 it's seen multiple delays, completely missing the Xbox One X's pre-launch hype cycle and won't even be here by Christmas. Microsoft clearly don't know how to advertise it outside of "Yup, it's more Crackdown" and the game's cloud-based city destruction tech feels more and more like it's been cast aside alongside the older versions of the Xbox One.

Microsoft never figured out how to effectively explain or market their cloud technology, and with Crackdown 3 literally making no forward momentum in three years, don't be surprised if this goes the way of Scalebound.
