Now, when I say ‘awesome details you missed’ I really mean, these things are wildly missable, often very tiny, and even if you did see them you might think nothing of it. In the case of this example, that would be because you don’t speak Norwegian.

If you do speak Norwegian and lovingly checked out the environments in the Dead Space remake, I’m sorry but you’re just going to have to sit back and wait for the next entry for me to tell you something you haven’t heard about before.

You’ll have to excuse my French, uh, Norwegian on this one, don’t worry I’ll only read you the translation, but there is a message scrawled on a wall in-game that reads “And if you f-ing zombies have learned to read, go to hell too”, which is just fantastic. Fans have mused over why the graffiti is in Norwegian with explanations ranging from the culturally diverse crew of the USG Ishimura to the similarities between the Necromophs and the mutations in 1982 horror film The Thing which kicks off at a Norwegian base.

Whatever the case, it’s a really cute easter egg. Cute as in cool to uncover, not as in the scrawlings of an absolutely soon to be Necromorph chum person.
