10 Awesome Details You Missed In Iconic Video Games
7. Realistically-Simulated Headlights - Grand Theft Auto V
If you were thinking that entries like a super old song and a single line of zombie-cussing-out graffiti are fairly minute details, I hope you enjoyed learning about them anyway because this entry is about headlight positioning.
Not just any headlight positioning, headlight positioning in a game with so much to do and mayhem to cause that you’re very unlikely to notice said headlights, nor be driving on the right side of the road.
If you are the specific type of gamer who likes to slow things down a bit, maybe stop at a red light or two and drive on the right side of the road in Grand Theft Auto, you would have noticed that your headlights have a particular slant. This is the same slant headlights are manufactured with in real life so when you are driving on the right side of the road, which I hope you are in real life, you don’t blind oncoming cars.
So, a couple of relevant things here. The first being that Rockstar continues to raise the bar when it comes to lovingly replicating tiny details in their games and the second is that if you didn’t know this and thought one of your headlights might have been going out because it’s slightly dimmer, it’s probably all good.
WhatCulture of course does not accept any liability if your headlight is in fact going out and you need to go get that checked, that’s on you.
