8. Rocksteady's New Game Is (Probably) Destiny-Like "Outlaws"

Fans of Rocksteady's Batman: Arkham franchise have been waiting on tenterhooks for a glimpse at their new superhero video game following the release of 2016's Batman: Arkham VR.

And despite missing numerous expected E3 unveilings, it does appear we're finally close to learning that Rocksteady has been cooking up with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.

If new leaks are correct, the game is a Destiny-like live-service game called Outlaws, though beyond that, precious little concrete information is available.

On one hand, the above "official art" was quickly debunked as fake, but on the other, Outlaws did show up on a recent retail listing and was quickly pulled down, which may well suggest its authenticity.

Some believe that the game may be prepping for an unveiling as soon as this week, though an E3 bow seems decidedly more likely.

Either way, the prospect of hurling superheroes into the live service genre is definitely an intriguing one, and with the game's evidently lengthy gestation period, hopefully Rocksteady has something primed to blow us all away.
