10 Awesome Glitches That Improved Video Games

8. Tiger Woods '08 - Walking On Water

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FZ1st1Vw2kY Here's another glitch that had us playing the game a lot more as a result, because while Tiger Woods '08 was far from a remarkable game, this bizarre glitch had some far-reaching implications, and resulted in a rare instance of EA appearing to have a sense of humour. Shortly after release, it became apparent that there was a glitch in which the player could walk on water and tee off in one section of the game, with a user posting a video to YouTube. Surely EA would fix the glitch, and get back to business, right? Well, EA, in a genius example of self-deprecation, responded with a video, declaring that the "glitch" was not a glitch at all, even roping in Tiger Woods to appear, walk on water, and get a hole-in-one. The "Jesus Shot", as it became termed, thus entered the legendary pantheon of glitches, and is actually one glitch we prefer left un-patched. It's hardly a great game, but this glitch had us playing the game a whole lot more, especially after EA released the video.
