10 Awesome Minigames In Video Game Credits

4. Undertale (2015)

Devil May Cry 3
Toby Fox

There are definitely a lot of deconstructive qualities to the formula of Toby Fox's Undertale. By breaking the fourth wall, mimicking game crashes and even calling you out on reloading a previous save, you really start to feel less like you're playing the game and more like the game is playing you.

If you've pulled out all of the extra stops to go down the True Pacifist route, you'll have earned yourself the best possible ending of the game - which obviously means being treated to the full list of credits!

"Oh boy, what a prize," you might think. Then, the sequence will arrive at the 'Special Thanks' section, and you'll certainly be eating your words... if you can dodge all the others, that is.

The names of all the game's kickstarter backers will be flung at your little SOUL, giving you one last taste of Undertale's amazingly unique combat system.

But it's not all aimless fun, as there's actually a point to this little endgame challenge. If you manage to dodge everything in sight without being hit once, you'll be granted access to the Purple Door outside Snowdin, that was tantalisingly locked for your entire playthrough. How's that for an engaging credits reel!
