10 Awesome Sega Mega Drive Games You've Never Played

8. Boogerman: A Pick And Flick Adventure

Given its title and premise there may be a valid reason that gamers steered clear of Interplay€™s alternative title, but to never play Boogerman: A Pick And Flick Adventure would deprive fans of the genre from experiencing some of the best platforming action to be seen on the console. Following a juvenile but fun storyline €“ a snotty kid gets even snottier when he adopts the game€™s titular alter ego and throws himself through a portal into the cannily name Dimension X-Crement €“ the game was comprised of twenty levels, all of which required Boogerman to jump, burp and fart his way to victory. Gross-out his repertoire may have been, but there is still nothing quite as satisfying as charging up a big old belch and launching it in the direction of an approaching baddie. Offering plenty of nods to the superhero genre and sticking a bogey-crusted finger up to the more discerning platformers out there, Boogerman€™s adventure created a big enough stink for a Kickstarter campaign to have been launched back in 2013.
