8. Dog From Fable
Who can honestly say they have played fable and do not appreciate everything that this dog does to help you? No matter what you name him or whether you are playing Fable 2 or 3, this dog is almost always at your side. He helps you find treasure all over the world and important stuff that people have just left lying around as parts of quests or just items to help you along the way. Never mind the fact that he will help you fight and finish off many of the evil things that attack you like Hobbs and Whisps. This dog missed you, and waited for you, every day for 10 years while you were at the Spire and came running to meet you when you returned. How many people out there had the heart to choose to never see their dog again in the end? This dog was truly a dog that you just wanted to make your own and he also seems to have an unusually long lifespan.
