Little Britain as a TV series was something quite special; it followed the sketch show format like the many that had come before it, but what made the efforts of David Walliams and Matt Lucas stand out was the show’s purely anarchic tone. With characters like Daffyd Thomas (the only gay man in the village) and twisted Fat Fighter Marjorie Dawes, all kinds of British tropes and sub culture stereotypes were bastardised expertly on screen.

So why the heck make a videogame based on the show? We’ll probably never get an answer to that question, meaning all we’re left to ponder over is Little Britain: The Video Game. Really a collection of mini games as opposed to one cohesive experience, modes include guiding a bikini clad Vicky Pollard through a park, making Andy repeatedly climb up a ladder before Lou can spot him and have Letty Bell smash up some frogs. It’s every bit as bad as it sounds, and remains one of gaming’s strangest licensed products. Not funny and not fun.
