10 Beloved Cult Classic Video Games That Desperately Deserve Sequels

What was it about the Xbox’s early days that led to so many great titles that remain standalone entries? Perhaps we’ll never know just why the Xbox gave so little in terms of the future but Yager is without doubt one of the most deserving of a sequel, probably of all time.

Harking back to the physics of genuine flight simulators, Yager stretched gaming pilots to their limits in terms of flying the damned ship alone. Combine tricky pilot work with Apache helicopter levels of offensive weaponry and you’ve perfected the recipe for success – even repairing the ship and refilling ammunition is beyond cool in this game. Why aren’t you checking Steam for it yet?

A sequel would go a long way to filling a void in the gaming market as there are no dog-fighting simulator titles available nor any upcoming as far as anyone is aware. Instead, you spend your days with your friends online shooting each other on foot by using cover that is conveniently available. In the sky, you rely on your reflexes and there’s nowhere to hide. Bring it on COD fans, the Red Baron will see you when Yager 2 happens.
