10 Best Fallout: New Vegas Mods

8. Run The Lucky 38

Fallout New Vegas Mod Run The Lucky 38BethesdaDownload The New Vegas Strip is a little short on casinos. There's a few good ones, but a couple more couldn't hurt. If you're anything like mod author PaladinRider, you probably feel disappointed that the Lucky 38, the most prominent casino at the heart of Vegas, is completely deserted. That's exactly what Run The Lucky 38 aims to fix. Instead of remaining a derelict ruin for the rest of the game, the Lucky 38 can now be revitalised into a thriving hotel and casino, with you at the helm. This mod could have settled for simply turning the Lucky 38 into a functioning casino, but it takes it further than that. As the name implies, you get to run the casino, and transform it into the resort of your choosing. What kind of patrons you serve, what services you offer, and even the layout is up to you. With Run the Lucky 38, you can inject a little bit of life into the Strip, all while giving your high-level Courier a new challenge to overcome: the challenge of business management.

Growing up on a healthy diet of JRPGs and point and click adventure games, young Kenny grew up playing Nintendo and Sony consoles, before becoming a snobby member of the PC Master Race. Nowadays, he resides in a time warp, refusing to believe the nineties ended as he fills up his Steam library with old point and clicks and cRPGs.
