The sequel to Lego Batman was a huge creative success. Expanding Batman's world to incorporate the entire Justice League and their own rogue's gallery, Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes is a great game.

The story introduces Lex Luthor as the main antagonist which already differentiates from the previous game. It's refreshing sometimes to not have The Joker lead the charge.

This is one of the best open world games that Traveller's Tales put out. Gotham is such a well realised environment, and it is so fun to zip about the landscape in the Batmobile. Yes, there are also vehicles for the first time in the Lego Batman series and they are great. Both the Batwing and the Batmobile play really well making the traversal to missions’ fun as well.

With a stellar line up of characters, Lego Batman 2 set the table for a lot of the superhero games that TT would work on. Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes stands out as the best Lego DC game of all time.
