I would be hard-pressed to recall a more hauntingly beautiful image in videogaming than any single moment of this scene as it unfolds. Elizabeth and Booker step out of the lighthouse that greeted gamers at the beginning of the first Bioshock and from there... It's really inexplicable. An infinite number of Elizabeths and an equally infinite number of Bookers hop from reality to reality, from one moment in time to the next, as we, the players, slowly unraveled exactly what was going on here. The sea of lighthouses is the moment where you put down the controller for a second and just say, "Wow."
