9. Akimbo Model 1887 (Modern Warfare 2)
If playing games has taught me anything, it's that shotguns
are fun to use until they are being used on you. Shame that most Modern
Warfare players have had to deal with two of these weapons of chaos.
You’d think that a gun made over a 100 years ago wouldn’t be able to hold a candle to the advanced weaponry you carry around in MW2. But this can do that and so much more. The Model 1887 was something players feared in the early days of the game’s multiplier and was enough to make half of lobbies leave.
The gun by itself was already powerful but with the Akimbo add-on, you could dual-wield these shotguns which doubles up on the amount of ammo and speed of your shots so that you would rarely miss your target.
This gun was so powerful, that it had to be patched and made weaker. Long gone are the days where you could go untouched in the lobby with these weapons that look like they belong in a western.
The only question I have is… just how is your character reloading those guns?
