10 Best Nintendo Switch Games (So Far)
5. Fast RMX
Speaking of a lack of story, Fast RMX knows exactly what it wants to be - a WipeOut-clone - and executes on that prospect with laser focused precision. Sadly there aren't any power-ups to obliterate foes, but who needs deployable speed boosts when the base game runs like footage of Burnout on fast-forward?
Seriously, 60fps has never looked this butter-smooth, and Fast RMX does have a cool colour-swapping system that rewards you with avoiding hazards on the track or going faster, if you match your ship's boosters to your surroundings.
The big sell is by far the speed, as even with Mario Kart's 200cc mode now being readily available on the system, Fast RMX blows it clean out the water. If you want hands-down the most eyeball searingly-fast racer on the Switch - one that doesn't skip a beat and still maintains that 60fps frame rate in multiplayer - it's right here.
