10 Best PS4 Games Of 2018 - Ranked

PS4 exclusives are outselling the competition and 2018's titles are some of the best.

Shadow Of The Colossus Remake
Sony

These days, most consoles share the same games with only a few exceptions. Developers have no qualms about making their titles available on anything and everything, seeing as that generates the most in sales, but some are limited to specific systems.

These are the games that draw a player to one console or another. If someone is on the fence as to which one to buy, playing the latest and greatest in a particular series might be the icing on the cake that pushes them to choose a PS4 over an Xbox One or Nintendo Switch.

When it comes to exclusive on the PS4, the industry was gifted with some of the best of the bunch in 2018. These are the games people bought the system to play, which is saying something considering the cost of a new console. If someone goes out and spends $300+ just to play a specific title, there's got to be a reason for it.

Exclusive titles are nothing new, but the ones dropped for the PS4 in 2018 were pretty amazing. They're damn near all recommendable, but only one can be called the all-out best.

10. MLB The Show 18

Ever since Pong showed the world a practical way to play sports without having to go to all the fuss of... actually exerting energy and going outside, sports games have been a major industry.

These days, the titles coming out are a bit more impressive, and you can't get much better in terms of baseball than the PS4 exclusive, MLB The Show 18.

MLB The Show 18 is the 13th in the series and was released on March 27, 2018 to rave reviews. Controls were imminently tighter as visuals received an uptick in overall quality, resulting in something that's not only beautifully designed and fun to play, but the realism of play upped the bar for future iterations in the series.

MLB The Show 18 was a stellar release for Sony, and a great addition to the exclusive library of PS4 titles for anyone who loves to play America's favourite pastime.
