Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom was the second game in the franchise following Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, which was released in 2011. The second title hit the shelves on March 23, 2018 and received high praise from fans and critics alike.
Revenant Kingdom takes place hundreds of years after the events of the first in the kingdom of Ding Dong Dell. Players didn't need to have played its predecessor to follow the story, which was encapsulating and incredibly entertaining.
Visually, this game is stunning and it plays much like an anime, which appeals to a great many players. It, like its predecessor, was released exclusively for the PS4.
