10 Best Songs In FIFA History

2. Song 2 - Blur

Song featured on: FIFA 98: Road to the World Cup

This song was released by Alt. Rock band Blur on their self-titled album. The song was originally nicknamed "Song 2" as a working title. The song is two minutes and two seconds long, there are two verses and two choruses, and it is the second song on their album.

The previous entries on this list all feature from modern iterations of the game. This song comes from the first official FIFA game made by EA Sports. Blur is one of the most iconic British bands, and their rivalry with Oasis in the '90s propelled the band to great heights.

This is also the second mention for Blur lead singer's Damon Albarn who formed Gorillaz after Blur's initial split in 2002. Their last release was in 2015 and the band is still together.

Song 2 is iconic, as simple as that. Even if it was part of FIFA in it's infancy, it is still considered to be one of the finest songs in FIFA history. It's grungey tones as Damon Albarn yells 'Woo Hoo' makes it relatable to most fans and how they feel while playing FIFA. The adrenaline rush that playing FIFA gets someone is only compared to the general mood of this song. It is easily one of the best songs to be in FIFA.
