Traveller's Tales' Lego games might be slightly hit or miss these days, but their Star Wars titles have always been a treat.
Starting with 2005's Lego Star Wars, which adapted the Prequel Trilogy, TT Games have developed four Lego Star Wars games - with a fifth one due to arrive in 2021 - but the best has to be the third, which compiled the first two releases into one nifty package.
Featuring both the prequels and the Original Trilogy together for the first time, plus some minor improvements and the addition of online co-op (which has been strangely absent from other Lego offerings), The Complete Saga is a love letter both to Star Wars and Lego - one that also helped to define the signature Lego humour that's since become a hallmark of the company, both in and out of video games.

He followed this with a brief hiatus at Screen Rant in 2021, where he worked across the Gaming and Film sections as a writer and editor, before returning to WhatCulture as a Senior Content Producer / Presenter in 2023. He started his own podcast, We Love Dad Movies, in 2022, and has contributed several written pieces to the Eisner-nominated comics website Shelfdust as well.
In his current role, Ewan incorporates his love of cinema, comic books, and history into written pieces and video essays for WhatCulture's Film & TV channel, as well as WhatCulture Gaming and WhatCulture Horror, with a particular focus on nineties-era Dad Movies, old school Westerns, and Golden Age Hollywood Noir. John Carpenter is his fave, and he thinks Batman Beyond should never have been cancelled. If that's your vibe, you'll probably like his stuff.
