10 Best Teen Horror Video Games
7. The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man Of Medan
The latest offering from Until Dawn developers Supermassive Games, Man Of Medan takes everything that made their aforementioned title a love letter to teen horror B-Movies and condensed it down to an admittedly shorter (but still massively entertaining) horror outing.
The first entry into the studio’s Dark Pictures anthology series, Man Of Medan sees players take on the roles of a group of divers who find themselves held hostage on an abandoned WWII ship.
Though this entry takes itself a little more seriously than Until Dawn, your choices are still just as vital in determining who makes it ashore. And with plenty of interesting branching narratives and gory delights to discover, multiple playthroughs are necessary to experiencing everything this game has to offer.
Unlike Until Dawn, this shipshape horror can also be enjoyed with friends thanks to the finely tuned online Shared Story mode in which players experience different sections simultaneously, with every choice impacting the overarching narrative. Likewise, the Movie Night Mode allows for a fun night of couch co-op in which players control their own character and pass the controller around accordingly.
The next anthology entry, Little Hope, is set for release this autumn.
