Best exclusive titles: Soulcalibur. NFL 2K, NBA 2K, Poor dejected Dreamcast, so helpless that it was unable to exclusively hold onto its own mascot Sonic, who jumped off the sinking ship and took his two Sonic Adventure games over to the GameCube. Nevertheless, Sega still had a great exclusive showing that made the console a hit until the PS2 launched. SoulCalibur and the Aerowings games were beautiful exhibits of the Dreamcast's initially unrivalled power, with the former having a brief moment as arguably the greatest fighting game ever - alongside fellow exclusive Virtua Fighter 3. The colourful arena fighters, Power Stone 1 and 2, remain some of the most unique fighting games to this day, while Phantasy Star Online introduced us to online multiplayer gaming on consoles, way before the world was even ready for it. It also had Seaman - the creepy fish with a human face that talks to you about stuff. So there's that too...
