If you'd have asked any gamer about Telltale Games two years ago, chances are that they would haven't had much to say about them. Most likely, they probably knew that they made some kind of poker game and a few solid adventure games, but it wouldn't be until the release of 2012's The Walking Dead that they took off into superstardom. While the AMC series was forging its own path, Telltale would create a game that mimicked the style of the comic book series by Robert Kirkman and defined an outstanding experience that has recently seen the launch of season two. Telltale has since gone on to become one of the premiere developers in the industry, respected by gamers for their attention to story and addicting gameplay. Their writing is absolutely wonderful, with so much human charm and fidelity that any game they make can suck you into its fully realised world. The emotional trauma of The Walking Dead made gamers everywhere collectively sob at its final tragic moments, and they've taken a further step into gaming bliss with The Wolf Among Us. Telltale is on its way to becoming the next titan in the industry, and it's exciting to think about what they've got planned next.
