10 Best Video Game Sequels That NEVER Happened
1. Conker's Other Bad Fur Day
With Conker's Bad Fur Day having become such a memorable game - to the extent that it's still being sought out and played today - it makes logical sense to try and continue the series. While many applauded the first game for ending on a low note, it was also undeniably sad to leave Conker after all your adventures with him to seemingly live out a life of regret and misery.
All this in mind, when Rare revealed that they intended to continue the crude red squirrel's adventures, many fans were understandably delighted.
From what has been shown to us, the plot would have revolved around Conker battling it out with the now undead Panther King, who was brought back by Death himself. Throughout these struggles, Conker battles Death, sees the universe's equivalent of the underworld, and at the end is attacked by what appears to be a carefully changed version of a Star Destroyer.
While these plans sounds genuinely interesting - and appear to set up the franchise as a trilogy - it was not to be. This would happen once more in 2015, when another potential sequel called "Conker's Big Reunion" was also left to the wayside.
