7. The Unmakyr - Doom Eternal
Long-time fans of Doom will remember the unbridled joy of brandishing the iconic BFG and instantly eviscerating everything within range with it. A new generation of Doom slayers, however, might come to associate that feeling with The Unmakyr too.
This delightfully preposterous weapon in accessible in Doom Eternal (and has appeared previously in the series, such as in Doom 64). It’s unique in that it must be used at close range for the best effects, but the Argent ammo it fires is utterly devastating.
At the flick of a switch, the classic BFG-9000 is still on hand too.
The Unmakyr can only be accessed after completing 6 challenging Slayer Gates. Head to the Fortress of Doom with a sextet of Empyrian Keys in tow, and you can claim it for yourself.
