9. Gravity Rush 2 (PS4)

Though it arrived in an unfortunate release window and quickly left the gaming conversation, Gravity Rush 2 is everything a sequel should be. Improving upon the original game's sometimes-clumsy gameplay and offering a larger scope with a wider variety of missions, it's the bigger, better, prettier follow-up fans were pulling for.

It's easy to spend hours just flying around this vibrant world, especially with the abundance of collectibles and emergent events that will come your way, while both the core story and side content feel decidedly more fleshed out than in the original title.

Even though the camera system could still use some work, the crazy boss battles and satisfying slew of revelations make Gravity Rush 2 an immensely enjoyable sequel.
