A game you've probably never heard of, Otogi was an original Xbox exclusive made by Fromsoftware, again set in the Sengoku period.
It's also a really good hack and slash game in it's own right, and quite the collector's item at the moment.
We could have included the Onimusha titles, but to be frank, they've noticeably aged. These games feature OTT combat and destructible environments, and are gorgeous to look at. Especially for the time they were made.
