3. Dead Space
The franchise that will see Visceral remembered for the rest of time, with so many external IPs coming EA's way over the years (many of which we've covered in this list), eventually they must've decided, "Y'know what? We should make our own".
Thus, Visceral were given complete creative freedom, and Dead Space is what emerged. A bonafide space horror masterpiece, this didn't just give us the horrifying visuals of some very John Carpenter's The Thing-like Necromorphs, but pioneered the idea of a HUD-less game.
Adapting all the basic things like health bars and waypoints to being visible on Isaac Clarke's suit or through optional holographic overlays, it really let you take in this Alien-inspired story of exploring an abandoned space ship, one corridor at a time.
Such gameplay innovations were Visceral's bread and butter, and though it's a shame they're gone, for Dead Space it was only the beginning...
