10 Best VR Shooters To Play Right Now
9. Arizona Sunshine
Arizona Sunshine was one of the first VR shooters on the market, released back in 2016 to some favorable reviews. The game sees you taking down hordes of zombies as you try to find the source of a mysterious radio signal and the hope of potential survivors in the sweltering desert heat.
The story is one that has been done to death many times before: an apocalypse, creeping insanity and loneliness, and of course, zombies, lots and lots of zombies.
The gameplay is fun and challenging, with the option to bring along a friend for some co-op zombie slaying. Along the way you loot stuff from buildings and abandoned vehicles, all rather typical of this genre, but what Arizona Sunshine excels at is its shooting mechanics and tension.
Popping a zombie in the head is satisfying, and keeping the hordes from edging closer to you is thrilling and tense. It still holds up well today despite being one of the very first VR shooting games on the market.
