5. Resident Evil 4 Final Boss Battle
What I liked about Resident Evil 4 was it looked at its past and said: Well that was awful, what the hell was I thinking? I should get my bloody act together." And get it together the franchise did somewhat. For everything RE4 did right like doing away with the fix camera malarkey, ending the game with a boring, quick-time event snore fest was like building a boat out of concrete. Even if you havent got a truck load of green herbs and health sprays by then which you probably would have you should have more ammo than the Sun to take the boss down. But the fight turns into something rather strange as all you really need to do it stand just out of reach and throw grenades until a quick-time event flashes in your face, and you stab him in the eye. Like a lot of bosses on my list, this one just didnt fit with the new tone of: Resident Evil and reverted back to its old ways.
