Console: NES Funniest quote: "I Feel Asleep!!" The Metal Gear Solid series has provided some of the most highly polished ports on the market, despite the occasional odd plot point. However, this was not the case with the original Metal Gear. Riddled with mistakes, the game produced such classics as "The truck have started to move!", and "Contact missing our Grey Fox". The best example though, is found in one of the earliest sequences. An enemy guard inexplicably yells "I'M GETTING SLEEPY!!" while Snake is doing his sneaky thing. If the player is detected, the guard will exclaim "I FEEL ASLEEP!!", before laying waste to Snake. Regardless of the fact that it was meant to read "I FELL ASLEEP", we still find it hilarious that this guard just exclaims everything that's going through his head, even when he's unaware anyone is around.
