5. Tekken X Street Fighter Definitely Still In The Works

"Please relax" were the comforting words offered by producer Katsuhiro Harada at Comic-Con, after being questioned regarding the current status of Tekken X Street Fighter. Harada claims that, despite an unusually long development period, "it is proceeding. It hasn't been cancelled." Tekken X Street Fighter will be a crossover fighting game, developed by Bandai Namco Games. Featuring characters from both the Tekken and Street fighter universe, the game will make use of the Tekken series' 3D game engine, rather than the 2D gameplay of Street Fighter X Tekken. Other games currently in development such as Tekken 7 and Soulcalibur: Lost Swords have meant that the team is searching for a good time to release Tekken X Streetfighter, with Hanada claiming it's a "challenge from the marketing side".
