Official releases dried up many years ago, but that hasn’t stopped Dreamcast enthusiasts creating their own.
These games aren’t licensed by Sega, but the quality of some of them is such that they’ve been commercially released and received widespread praise and publicity in gaming magazines.
Some of these are emulations of existing games from other consoles, but the true gems are original games developed by independent games companies.
The crown in the jewel is Sturmwind which has the look and feel of classic shoot ‘em ups like Radiant Silvergun and Ikaruga. Without knowing which is which, I’d defy anyone to tell which game had been produced by a well-established company like Treasure, and which was the independent release.

One downside is the price. Some of these games command the same price as current gen releases, which is perhaps surprising, but the quality of the games really does warrant the same price as an official title.
