10 Bizarre Video Game Achievements You Didn't See Coming

1. Multiplayer Master! - Eat Lead: The Return Of Matt Hazard

This one is a doozy because if you beat the game there’s no way you can avoid popping it but you’ll certainly be caught off guard by it, not to mention puzzled by its absurdity. To explain why, let's rewind and explain the game in question. Eat Lead is a 2009 third-person shooter developed by Vicious Cycle Software.

So far, so sensible. Bear with me.

You take on the role of Matt Hazard, voiced by Will Arnett, and divide your time between pointing your gun at things to make them go boom and listening to genuinely funny quips. At the very end of the game you’ll be awarded the achievement ‘Multiplayer Master!’ which seems all well and good except you don’t remember playing a multiplayer mode. Well, the game doesn’t actually have one so noone could say you didn’t beat it.

The achievement’s description reads, “What? No multiplayer? Sigh. Well...not like we can take the achievement back NOW...." And they didn’t.
