I feel it would be a huge missed opportunity to talk about essential tabletop games and not include the legendary Dungeons and Dragons. Simply put this is the game of games, the king of kings because you literally shape the game into what you want it to be.

Whether you're searching for lost treasures in Dwarven mines or gallavanting around hell itself on a magical laser shooting goat, all things as possible as long as you're willing to use your imagination.
