One of the largest and key additions to the PlayStation 4 is its social implementation, most notably through optionally syncing your account with Facebook. You can additionally send 'Name Requests' to other people on your friends list which can potentially expand the depth of your friendship with that person. Internet usernames are cool and all but sometimes you just want to get to know a gaming buddy a little more. You can also now create party chats and video chats to converse with each other instead of texting. Whether youre talking to friends or distant relatives or family, its a nice feature to have. Chances are if you need to get in touch with someone thats a gamer, it might just be easiest to turn on your console and see if their online.
