10 Broken Yu-Gi-Oh Cards That Can NEVER Be Unbanned

8. Yata-Garasu

Pot of Greed
Konami

Banned due to the infamous Yata-Lock that plagued the game way back in the early noughties, Yata-Garasu is an extremely dangerous card. There's little wonder it has been outlawed since the introduction of the first ever Ban List in 2004.

If the turn player is ever in a position to deal Battle Damage to their opponent with the 200 ATK Spirit Monster, it's safe to assume that their opponent won't have much in terms of defences in their hand anyway. Yata-Garasu's ability to prevent the opponent from drawing can result in an infinite loop (as the turn player can Summon Yata-Garasu again the very next turn, attacking and skipping the opponent's Draw Phase again), effectively locking out the opponent from playing the game.
